Tyvek is a light-weight material with the look and feel of paper, but very strong. Tyvek maps are highly tear resistant and thus long lasting.

Tyvek maps are ideal for most outdoor activities, in a wide variety of adverse weather conditions. Tyvek maps do not fade like paper!

Tyvek maps are water-resistant and they float. Tyvek is made from very fine, high-density polyethylene fibers, that offers all the best characteristics of paper, film and fabric in one material.

Tyvek, made by Dupont, is also used for protective apparel, construction, envelopes, medical packaging and graphics. Here seen on a new house construction as a vapour barrier.
