TopoWeb is a new and very different way to access digital topographic maps. This brand new software development gives online access to an entire province/region of 1:50,000 scale topo maps in one package, and includes the latest generation SoftMap 5 software, as well as the GPS software module.

Features of TopoWeb

• It includes all of the features of our existing SoftMap 4 software, such as seamless navigation, search tools, customizing facilities and map printing.
• Each province is fully covered and the topo maps are seamlessly joined.
• SoftMap 5 can be installed beside SoftMap 4, when required, and can utilize the existing SoftMap data on your computer.
• Click to go directly between English and French in the software
• TopoWeb includes the SoftMap interface FREE. Get real-time positioning, plus transfer tracks, routes and waypoints with Garmin and Magellan GPS receivers. Get real-time positioning with all other NMEA 0183 v.2 output GPS receivers. (Note: Maps do not appear on the screen of the GPS.)
• The maps are available in high or low resolution to allow a selection based on the download speed of the user's internet connection.
• Downloaded maps can then be customized and printed - allowing you to select the coverage area - even if the area is on more than one paper topo map! You can also add your own symbols and maps markings before printing.
