Shipping
Information
If we have stock on hand, your order will be filled within 2 business
days (often same day). If we don't have the requested maps on hand, your order
will be filled within 3-4 business days.
Please Note: In rare cases, we reserve the right to refuse to ship
at the rates quoted below if our costs are not covered. In that situation, we
would contact you with a revised quote and ask you to confirm if you would like
to proceed with the order.
Canada
Within Canada all parcels are normally shipped via Canada Post
Expedited Parcel Service for a flat fee of $8.50, regardless of order
size.
When requested, small orders of 5 topos or aero charts can be sent
folded for a flat fee of $4.00.
U.S.A.
Most parcels are shipped via Air Mail, for a flat fee of
$16.00.
When requested, small orders of 5 topos or aero charts can be sent
folded for a flat fee of $6.00.
International
We regret we are unable to provide standard pricing for
international shipments as costs vary tremendously. Please
contact
us for a quote, indicating what you'd like to order, the shipping address
and the preferred shipping method (mail or courier).
Please note that we prefer not to ship tubes to international
destinations as they frequently get damaged in transit. We recommend that maps
and charts are sent folded to countries overseas.
If applicable, any custom charges will be your
responsibility.
Courier: Parcels sent by this method are traceable with the
courier and Federal Maps will replace any lost parcels at our expense. The cost
of the courier will be borne by the customer. Please
contact
us for a price quote. Note - this will be an expensive choice - it is
unlikely to cost less than $100.
Air Express: Note that parcels sent by this method are not
traceable and Federal Maps will not be responsible for, or replace items lost
or delayed. This method will be charged at cost as determined by Canada Post.

us for a price quote. As a general guideline, shipping by mail (when the
items are folded) will cost around 30% of the value of the
order.
When requested, small orders of 1-5 topos or aero charts can be sent
folded by mail for a flat fee of $12.00.
Courier
We also ship by Purolator, Federal Express or U.P.S. if you are able
to provide us with your account number for either organization (signature
required). All delivery, transportation and customs charges will be billed by
the courier to your account. Please note that if we are unable to charge the
account number provided, we will charge your credit card directly for all
delivery costs. We can also ship by Federal Express if you provide us with the
authority to give Federal Express your credit card information and instruct
them to charge all delivery fees to that credit card. All orders shipped by
Federal Express to destinations outside of Canada require the recipient to sign
for the delivery, even if the delivery is to a residence. Please ensure that
you or someone who can sign on your behalf will be available at the address
that you provide to us.
Shipping by courier is expensive. To get a quote of the cost, go to
www.fedex.ca or ask us.
Occasionally orders are
lost or damaged in shipping. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you
haven't received your order. |
